Left hemianopic patient suffering with reading:
Cannot find the start of the line .
advice him to keep his thumb or a marker at the start of the line as a marker to return to.
Right hemianopic patient suffering with reading:
Cannot find the next word
Advice him to Learn to skip beyond the next word so that the target word falls within the field of vision
Another tricky advice to try reading with the text rotated up to 90° so that the whole line falls within the field of vision
This advice depends on the direction of reading
a left-to-right reading direction is assumed here.
